1863 Society

Since its founding in 1863, Boston College has been shaped by visionary leaders. Leaders who lit the way for generations of “men and women for others” like you.

Inspired by our University’s founding and traditions, the 1863 Society is the annual leadership donor society with a family of five donor circles, each named for a leader who played a vital role in shaping the BC we know today. By recognizing those leadership donors who have made significant investments in the University’s commitment to excellence with contributions ranging from $1,000 to more than $25,000, 1863 Society members help fulfill some of the most immediate needs of Boston College and its students.

A leadership gift to Boston College honors our tradition of excellence while securing the University's future. With your generosity today, the dream conceived in 1863 can continue to shine brightly at BC.
