Eagles On the Move
Luke Tarbi, ‘05
Luke Tarbi ’05 is the Vice President of Marketing at EnergySage, a Boston-based cleantech startup he joined after completing his MBA at New York University in May 2015. Luke leads a team of four at EnergySage and oversees the company’s marketing strategy, content writing and research, communications, and data analytics. As a member of the executive team, he also supports setting overall company strategy, fundraising, investor relations, and public engagement.
Initially funded by the U.S. Department of Energy’s SunShot Initiative, EnergySage is an online marketplace that connects solar shoppers with multiple solar installers who compete for their business. By bringing together solar shoppers and solar installers in a single online marketplace, EnergySage lowers the costs of going solar for homeowners and the costs of customer acquisition for installers. The online marketplace has been live since 2013, and every month matches thousands of homeowners with a rapidly growing list of over 300 solar installation companies.
Luke joined EnergySage from Yieldmo, a New York-based mobile advertising technology company where he was Vice President of Marketing. Earlier in his career, he worked as a consultant at Forrester Research and Deloitte and served as an officer in the U.S. Navy. He holds an MBA in Marketing from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University, a Master’s degree from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University, and is a graduate of the Political Science Honors Program at Boston College.
