Recent Carroll Graduate School of Management graduates––and winners of the school's 2012 MBA business plan competition––Meghan Zipin, MBA ’13, and Emily Fannon, MBA ’13, are the founders of EnerLeap Inc., which is developing a super-efficient lithium ion battery that will provide ten times more power and five times more energy capacity than those in use today. The battery technology was invented by BC Associate professor of chemistry Dunwei Wang. EnerLeap is a 2013 finalist in MassChallenge, the world's largest accelerator program and startup competition.
