Kerry to Deliver Commencement Address

A graduate of Boston College Law School and the current Secretary of State, John Kerry, JD’76, will serve as the Commencement speaker for BC’s 2014 graduation ceremonies.

Kerry is also one of the five honorary degree recipients this year. Joining him will be former Boston Celtics player, former BC basketball head coach, and basketball Hall of Fame member Bob Cousy; award-winning innovator in the field of nursing Ann Riley Finck ’66, P’93, ’95, ’96, ’06, ’08; president and CEO of Urban Health Plan, Inc. Paloma Izquierdo-Hernandez ’76; and Robert Morrissey ’60, P’86, ’88, ’91, ’95, ’97, a University trustee and senior partner of Boston-area law firm Morrissey, Hawkins & Lynch.

The 138th Commencement of Boston College will be held Monday, May 19, starting at 10 a.m. in Alumni Stadium.
