The Boston College Alumni Association recently shared that Joy Moore ’81, H’10, has assumed the role of associate vice president of alumni relations. The position was previously held by John Feudo ’82, who has now become a senior member of the University’s Advancement team.

A graduate of the Lynch School of Education, Moore embodies BC’s commitment to be “men and women for others,” having previously served in a variety of leadership positions at both the Archer School for Girls in L.A. and her alma mater, Dana Hall School in Wellesley, Mass. Prior to joining the BC Advancement office in 2011 as director of stewardship and donor relations, she worked as interim and deputy head of The Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls in South Africa.

Most recently, Moore spearheaded the University’s 150 on the Road service campaign, which provided more than 450,000 meals for families in Africa. In her new role, she will oversee all facets of the BC Alumni Association, with the goal of enhancing the alumni experience for all graduates.
