Class of 2013 Joins the Family
One last game at Fenway Park; a cup of coffee with a favorite professor; carrying an egg in a spoon for a mad dash through the Mods—it must be Senior Week at BC! The Class of 2013 breathed a collective sigh of relief as the last papers were turned in and the final exams ended, and turned its attention to the games, parties, and traditions that make Senior Week memorable.
The fun-filled week kicked off with a Dance Through the Decades, with students invited to wear a costume from their favorite era and dance the evening away at Club Royale. This year's Senior Week schedule included both golf and dodgeball tournaments as well as the Mod Relay, which tested students' mettle in a three-legged race, water balloon toss, and egg carry. As they do each year, the BC Police Department fired up the barbecue and rewarded relay participants with hamburgers.
On Friday evening, seniors dined, danced, and reminisced at the Commencement Ball in Boston's Sheraton Hotel. Then on Sunday, the Alumni Association officially welcomed its newest members at the Senior Legacy Breakfast, before it was time for the main event: the 137th annual Boston College Commencement Exercises.
The BC Alumni Association is delighted to welcome the Class of 2013 to the alumni community. Visit the BC Alumni Portal to find out how to stay connected to your classmates and access all the resources BC makes available to members of the alumni & friends community.
