While many die-hard Eagles fans weren’t able to make the trip to Shreveport, La. on New Year’s Eve to cheer on their football team in the AdvoCare V100 Bowl, they made sure some newly minted BC fans would support the team by purchasing—and then donating—tickets. In the spirit of being “men and women for others,” SuperFans donated more than 500 tickets to Shreveport-area charities and organizations.
Thanks to the generosity of the BC family, members of the following organizations were able to attend the game: St. John Berchman Cathedral, Shriners Hospital, South Highlands Elementary School, Caddo Middle Magnet School, Broadmoor YMCA, St. Joseph Catholic Church, Sci-Port Children’s Museum Outreach, and Rutherford House. And while the end result wasn’t ideal, the Jesuit spirit on display gave Eagles fans plenty to be proud of.
