Life-Changing Student Aid

Thanks to the University’s bedrock commitment to financial aid, students from every background can benefit from an exceptional BC experience.

Boston College is one of only 19 private universities in the country that admit students “need-blind,” evaluating their potential to succeed rather than their ability to afford tuition and, once accepted, pledge to meet each U.S. undergraduate's full demonstrated financial need.

This standard is all the more difficult to maintain when BC has one of the smallest endowments of those select universities.

Therefore, raising essential funds for student aid—especially at a time when seven in 10 BC students receive some assistance—is a primary Light the World goal. It is also a goal that epitomizes the University’s Jesuit, Catholic mission.

Your ongoing support can ensure talented students can always call the Heights home.
