The undergraduate experience at BC is a time for great discovery. Three professors will share how students benefit and learn through a process of discovery both in the classroom and abroad. Dr. Eric Strauss will share how students learn through research projects as well as opportunities provided through the Environmental Studies program. In conjunction, Prof. Seth Jacobs will discuss the role discovery plays in the Social Sciences and Humanities. Lastly, Prof. Laurie Shepard will highlight the vast opportunities for students who study abroad as well as reflect on her experience teaching at Venice International University.

Developed to promote a collaborative approach to learning, both inside and outside the classroom, the newly established Center for Student Formation is integral to the University's strategic plan. Jennie Purnell will lead a discussion on intellectual, social, ethical and spiritual growth and development during the undergraduate years. She will be joined by Burt Howell, Dan Ponsetto, and Fr. Jack Butler.

Patrick Rombalski, Vice President, Student Affairs
Patrick Rombalski will lead an interactive presentation focused on key components of student life on campus: from living in the residence halls, to programs on campus that promote student involvement, to services and support for your son or daughter. He will be joined by colleagues from Student Programs, the Office of the Dean for Student Development, and Residential Life for a Q&A following the presentation.
President's Address

Boston College's president, William P. Leahy, S.J., will share his unique perspective on the University with Boston College families.

Don’t delay—this event will sell out. All tickets will be mailed two weeks prior to the game. There will be no refunds. If your student has season football tickets, you do not need to buy a ticket for him or her. However, you will be seated in separate sections.
