Parking Information

In order to accommodate campus traffic associated with Saturday’s football game, all cars must be removed from campus by midnight Friday.  Cars remaining overnight will be towed.  Please do not plan to park overnight on campus from Thursday, September 24 through Sunday, September 27.  Towing will be enforced.

Friday, September 25

All parents attending Parents’ Weekend activities during the day on Friday will be directed to park on our Brighton Campus, adjacent to Lower Campus. Please follow the signs and enter the campus through the third entrance on Lake Street. Parking attendants will be on site for assistance.

Minibuses will be available starting at 8:30 a.m. to take you to Lower Campus, or you are welcome to walk. (It is about a five minute walk.) These buses will run throughout the day between Brighton Campus and Lower Campus every 10 to 15 minutes, stopping at the Robsham Theater and Conte Forum bus stops.

If you are staying for the Pops on the Heights Scholarship Gala on Friday evening, we request that you keep your car parked on the Brighton Campus during the concert to avoid traffic congestion. Motor coaches will be available at both entrances of Conte Forum immediately following the concert to bring you back to the Brighton Campus.

The Boston College Shuttle Service is available to all visitors if you require transportation to the Newton, Upper, or Middle campuses throughout the day. For BC Shuttle schedules and route maps, please visit www.bc.edu/shuttle.

If you are planning to arrive on campus before 8:30 a.m., you will still be directed to park on the Brighton Campus. You may then either walk to Lower Campus or wait for the 8:30 a.m. minibus.

Guests who require handicapped access will be able to park in marked handicapped parking spaces in surface lots on Lower Campus. You will need to present a state-issued handicapped placard. Please enter through the St. Ignatius Gate and do not park in either of the garages.
