Q: How can I contact a Parents’ Weekend representative during the weekend?

A: We will have an Information Table at the Welcome Center in Robsham Theater on Friday from 10:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.  Otherwise, look for our staff at Parents’ Weekend events throughout the weekend.

Q: I never received my tickets to the Pre-game Lunch.  What do I do?

A: Come to the Recreation Complex on Saturday, and we will look you up on our list.

Q: I never received my tickets to the Pops on the Heights Scholarship Gala.  What do I do?

A: Please call the Pops on the Heights hotline at 800-767-5591, or if you are on campus, please visit the Ticket Office in Conte Forum.  Pops on the Heights staff will be there starting at 9:00 a.m Friday morning.

Q: I never received my tickets to the BC vs. Wake Forest football game.  What do I do?

A: Please call the football ticket office at 617-552-GoBC (4622).  Or you can visit the Ticket Office in Conte Forum if you are on campus.

Q: Has the location of the Family Liturgy on Sunday changed?

A: Not yet, but chances are good that we may move the Liturgy into Conte Forum based on the weather forecast.  Please look out for announcements throughout the weekend and signage on campus Sunday morning.

Q: What is the dress code for Parents' Weekend?


A: The dress code is primarily casual.  You should dress to be comfortable.  Dress for the Pops on the Heights Scholarship Gala and the Sunday Liturgy tends to be a little more formal – business casual instead of casual.

Q: Where can I find information about places to eat on campus?


A: Boston College Dining Services has its own website complete with location listings, menus, and hours of operation.

Q: Where can I find information about parking on Parents' Weekend?


A: Information regarding parking on Parents' Weekend is available on our Parking page. For campus maps, please visit BC's Maps and Directions page.

Please note that we strongly encourage you to use the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA or the "T") subway system during your Parents' Weekend stay. The Boston College branch of the MBTA's Green Line (the B train) ends at the Boston-Newton boundary on Commonwealth Avenue. Cross the street and walk by St. Ignatius Church and follow the perimeter road around to campus entrances. If you are planning to stay in Boston, this is a convenient way of getting to campus without needing a car.

Q: Is tailgating allowed in the Needham Industrial Lot prior to the football game?


A: No.

Q: My student lives on Newton Campus – can I park there during the Pops on the Heights Concert or football game?


A: No.

Q: Can i drop off supplies to my student at his or her dorm?


A: Yes. Please notify the gate attendent that you will be dropping off and not parking.

Q: When will you announce the date for Parents' Weekend 2010?


A: The dates for each year's Parents' Weekend are typically announced in February.
