Give to BC

Who Makes It Happen

Donna M. Morris and William Sweat
At BC, the couple established the Joan and William Morris Scholarship Fund, which benefits students in the College of Arts and Sciences.

Donna Morris and William Sweat

"We both received financial aid as students and recognized that we were able to attend college because alumni were giving back. We feel a strong commitment to continue that."
- Donna M. Morris '81 and William Sweat, MBA '91
David Roccosalva
Eager to help pass along that feeling of possibility to new generations of young men and women, Roccosalva has made a gift to BC almost every year since his graduation.

David Roccosalva

"It's important to me to give what I can. Some years it's more, some years less, depending on circumstances, but any opportunity to help someone else to attend BC is absolutely worth it."
- David Roccosalva '81, MA '85
Anthony Sansevero
Eight years out of college, this young alumnus still maintains close ties to Boston College. Annual gifts to the BC Fund are one way he continues to give back to BC.
  Anthony Sansevero

"Every year, I set aside some money so that I can make a gift to BC. That money could be going to other things, but BC was so good to me that I'm happy to give something back."
- Anthony Sansevero, A&S '99
Nancy and Ken Nolan
Parents of two alums and one current student, the Nolans give to the BC Fund because of the University's academics and the values BC reinforces.

"It was our son Ken who first convinced Caitlin to go to BC, and then she in turn persuaded Elizabeth to also choose BC. Our kids are why we give."
- Nancy and Ken Nolan, P'03, '05, '08
John Powers
John Powers attributes many of his successes to the balance granted him by his BC experience--equal parts intellectual, spiritual, and social. He repays the University with his gifts to the BC Fund.

John Powers

"For me, BC opened up a whole new world while also reinforcing what I wanted to do and where I wanted to go in life. I just can't think of a better education, or a better preparation, than that."
- John J. Powers '73
Carolyn and Dan Foley
BC parents twice over and now BC grandparents, the Foleys strengthen their ties to BC by giving to the BC Fund.
  Carolyn and Dan Foley

"We are very proud to be involved with an institution like this, and to show our support, we have always tried to contribute as far as our means have allowed."
- Carolyn Kenney Foley '56 and Daniel M.P. Foley '55
Blenda Wilson
Blenda Wilson has devoted her career to education. By giving to the BC Fund, she hopes to share with others the privilege of a Boston College education.
  Blenda Wilson

"By giving to the BC Fund, I am demonstrating my trust in the University and its leadership, and giving them the flexibility to use the money to address its most important priorities."
- Blenda Wilson, Ph.D. '79
