Give to BC

Regional Councils

The Boston College Fund Regional Councils allow a close working relationship with key volunteers regionally who will personally invest in the University with a gift to the Boston College Fund and encourage other key constituents to do the same.

This new volunteer organization focuses on class-based fundraising, which encourages more proactive engagement amongst volunteers. Previously, our regional volunteers were separated into different giving society committees (Fides, President's Circle and Gasson Society Committees). Under our new structure, volunteers are brought together under the banner of one Boston College Fund Council, supporting the shared goal of maximizing support for BC from all of our constituents.

Volunteer Roles and Responsibilities

  • Council members serve as representatives and brand promoters of the Boston College Fund within their own constituencies (graduating class, region, parents, professional affiliation, or school).
  • Council members share the mission of the Boston College Fund with other members of the BC community to encourage participation.
  • Council members attend scheduled meetings (two per year).
  • Council members represent the BC Fund at regional University events.
