David Gordon '94 and his children were featured at BC Alumni Day at the Lowell Spinners July 18. Spinners are a Red Sox farm team. The kids threw "first pitches" and Gordon, who kicked the famous game-winning field goal in 1993 that defeated then #1-ranked Notre Dame, kicked footballs into the stands.

The Cleveland Chapter is holding its second annual Networking Night at the Barley House on Thursday, July 29, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. The goal of this event is to introduce the BC Alumni community to recent graduates, current students, and other area alums. Barley House will be offering free appetizers and cash bar with drink specials. Last year’s event was a great success as many cards were exchanged and new relationships were created. Don’t let this unique opportunity to network with other BC Alums pass you by!

The Deutsche Bank Championship is New England's premier PGA Tour event held over Labor Day weekend at the TPC Boston in Norton, MA.This year's Championship will feature the top 100 professional golfers including past champions Steve Stricker, Adam Scott, Vijay Singh, Tiger Woods, and Phil Mickelson as they compete in the PGA Tour Playoffs for the FedEx Cup and the $10 Million first prize.
