T.J. Maloney '75, P'09, '16 is the chairman and CEO of Lincolnshire Management, which he joined in 1993. Prior to joining Lincolnshire, T.J. practiced mergers and acquisitions and securities law in New York and worked for his family businesses.
The Maloney family's commitment to BC has spanned three generations, and T.J. has helped continue their legacy of service. He was named to the BC Board of Trustees in 2009, serving on the finance and audit committee. TJ was co-chair of the Wall Street Council from 2011–2016, overseeing five Wall Street Tribute Dinners that raised over $11 million for presidential scholars. Additionally, he engineered a Wall Street Council Executive Board restructure, positioning the council's engagement and programming efforts for continuing growth. He is currently an Executive Board member of the Wall Street Council and is also a member of the advisory board for the Center for Asset Management. He and his wife Nancy served as New York regional Light the World campaign volunteers.
In 2003, the Maloney family established the Joseph L. Maloney '49 Scholarship Fund in memory of T.J.'s father. Income provides scholarship assistance for qualified students who have demonstrated academic excellence, with first preference for those majoring in philosophy. In 2011, the building formerly known as 21 Campanella Way was renamed Maloney Hall in honor of the generosity of the Maloney family.
T.J. has lectured extensively and served as a guest lecturer at several universities, including Columbia Business School. After completing his BA in philosophy at BC, he earned a JD from Fordham Law School in 1979, where he serves on the Dean's Planning Council. He is the 2007 recipient of the Richard J. Bennett Memorial Award, presented by Fordham Law School in recognition of corporate leaders with the highest moral standards. T.J. previously served on the board of directors and the executive committee of the English-Speaking Union of the United States and the board of trustees of Tilton School.
T.J. and Nancy have three children: John J. "Jack" Maloney '09, Elizabeth "Betsy" Maloney (Wheaton College '11), and Thomas J. Maloney '16.
