Living the Journey Photo Contest
All BC alumni, students, faculty, staff, and friends are invited to submit entries for a photography contest corresponding with the conference theme of Living the Journey: Spirituality for the Second Half of Life. Photos may be of people, places, symbols, etc., that represent spirituality in the second half of life. Winning entries will be exhibited in the conference gallery during the April 10 conference. You do not have to attend the conference to submit photos to the photo contest. Everyone is welcome to submit photos for consideration.
Deadline for submissions: Monday, March 15, 2010
Rules:
Entries must not have been published and are limited to three per person. People may submit photos of themselves, understanding that the submission gives Boston College the right to use them at the event and in subsequent materials. If other individuals appear in the photo, submission indicates that they have acquired the necessary permissions from those over 18 and/or from a parent/legal guardian for those pictured who are under 18. In all cases, submission provides Boston College with the right to use them at the event and in subsequent materials.
Submission Process:
Photographers may make digital or print submissions. No other formats will be accepted than those described below.
Digital Submissions:
- At least 300 dpi in JPEG Format.
- Photographer’s name, mailing address, email address, BC year of graduation (if applicable), and daytime phone number must accompany the entry.
- E-mail entries to bc.spirituality@bc.edu with “Photo Contest” in the subject line.
Print Submissions:
- Prints must be at least 8X10 inches.
- Photographer’s name, mailing address, e-mail address, BC year of graduation (if applicable), and daytime phone number must be labeled on the back.
- Prints will not be returned.
