In our fast-moving culture, there is often too little time for reflection. Where are our lives going? What is our ultimate goal? St. Ignatius used to challenge his followers to reflect upon the scriptural quote: “What does it profit a man if he gains the whole world, but loses his soul?” We want to provide more opportunities to ponder the directions of our lives. We will do this through formation programs, speaker discussion series, retreats, and the liturgy. For a list of reflective, meditative resources, check out the "Useful Links" section below.

| BCAA Illness and Grief Outreach If you know of an alum that is seriously ill, or recently deceased, please let us know. In the case of a deceased alum, we will send a card to the family and, in some cases, we may be able to send a representative of the Alumni Association to the wake and/or funeral. If we know of an alum who is ill or hospitalized, we will send a card and, again if circumstances permit, will attempt to send a representative of the alumni association to visit. We hope to expand our visitation teams in the future. To pass along information about deceased or ill alumni, e-mail duffindi@bc.edu or call 617-552-1171. |
