Registration

How do I register?
There are three ways to register:
1) Click here to register online for events.
    Click here to register online for housing.
VISA, MasterCard, and American Express credit cards are accepted. (Note: If you register online, you may choose for your name to be added to the online RSVP list for your friends to view.)

2) Mail the completed registration form to Boston College Alumni Association, 825 Centre Street, Newton, MA 02458.

3) Fax the completed registration form to 617-552-4626.

HOUSING REGISTRATION IS DUE BY JUNE 12. EVENT REGISTRATION IS DUE NO LATER THAN JULY 3.

Do I have to register, or may I pay at the door?
All events must be registered and paid for in advance.
NO REGISTRATIONS will be accepted at the door for fee-based events.

Will I receive tickets?
No tickets will be issued for any event. Your nametag will grant you admission to all events for which you have registered. If you’re staying on campus, you may pick up your nametag at the Alumni Welcome Center in the lobby of 110 St. Thomas More Hall.

 

Upon Arrival

This is your first stop upon your arrival to campus. Meet our staff, pick up your name tag (required for access to all events for which you registered), and much more. The Alumni Welcome Center will be staffed throughout the weekend at the times indicated below. Don’t hesitate to stop by if you have questions or just to say hello.

Welcome Center Hours:
Friday, July 17, 9:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m.
Saturday, July 18, 9:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m.
Sunday, July 19, 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.

Will I receive event registration confirmation?
All attendees who have specified an e-mail address will receive event confirmation by e-mail. All others will receive confirmation by mail at the address specified on the registration form. The event confirmation will be mailed separately from the housing confirmation. Event registration confirmations will be sent as soon as the registration is processed. Housing registration confirmations will be sent in late June as soon as all housing placements for RECONNECT 2009 attendees are processed.

How do I change or add to my registration once it is submitted?
To add an attendee or an event to a previously submitted registration, please call Eva Maynard of the Alumni Association at 617-552-4757 or 800-669-8430. All event registrations are nonrefundable.

Where do I go if I need assistance?
Alumni Association staff will be clearly identified at each event; feel free to ask any staff member for assistance with any needs that may arise. The Alumni Welcome Center will be staffed throughout the weekend at the days and hours listed above. Stop by with any questions between events, or call our main number at 617-552-4700. For police emergencies, call 617-552-4444.

Can I receive a refund?
All event tickets are nonrefundable.

What should I wear?
A suggested dress code has been provided for each event on the schedule of events posted here.

Where can I park?
Parking is available without a parking pass. Please park in the Beacon Street or Commonwealth Avenue parking garages. A limited number of handicap parking spaces are available throughout campus. Handicap registration plates or placards are required to use these spaces.

How do I get to and from events on campus?
Boston College shuttles will be available all weekend.

Is housing available on campus?
For your convenience, we have arranged to provide on campus housing in 90 St. Thomas More Hall during the weekend. To register for on campus housing, click here.
