Special Groups

information for groups visiting campus

Thank you for your interest in bringing your students to Boston College. We welcome larger groups to campus, but ask that you arrange your visit in advance so that we can best meet your needs. We require at least two weeks notice to accommodate group visit requests. Unruly or disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated. Due to the large number of special groups that visit our campus, we are unable to provide transportation, housing or food.

Groups with less than 30 students will be incorporated into our regularly scheduled information sessions and tours. Special sessions will be arranged for groups with more than 30 visitors based on space and staff availability.

Special group visits are available, Monday through Friday, during the following dates:

September 21st - November 20th
February 8th - February 26th
March 8th - March 31st
April 6th - April 16th
April 20th - April 30th

Please note that special group visits are NOT available on October 12th or
April 19th.

Age Requirement for Special Groups: Visit programs offered through the Undergraduate Admission Office are designed for high school students, specifically juniors and seniors, and college transfer students. We certainly applaud the efforts of early intervention programs and educators who are interested in exposing elementary or middle school students to college. However, to participate in our special groups program, students must be from a high school, college or an organization that caters to this age group. This is due to our resource constraints and our desire not to contribute to the college admission frenzy, which can occur when introducing students to the college admission process at such an early age. It is our belief that the best way to prepare elementary and middle school students for college is to assist them in building a solid academic foundation.
