My classes here have gone beyond my expectations. The teachers are so eager and willing to help students. Every school advertises it, but at BC it's actually true. Once of the advantages of being in the Shaw Leadership program is living in the Shaw House. My roommates are white, Hispanic, Dominican, and black, and I'm Asian. You can't get more diverse than that. For my leadership project, I've been raising money for school supplies for an organization called Summerbridge, which helps middle-school kids at risk for failure. I don't really see myself as a leader, I'm just giving back to the program that has given me so much.
