I grew up in China and came to New York when I was 9. I grew up on the Lower East Side. My mind was pretty much set on schools in New York. Then I realized I could go away and try something different. I liked BC because it offers a suburban experience, with trees and grass, but it's near the city. There's so much to do - but not too much, like New York. A lot of the clubs at BC are multicultural. I've been an AHANA program coordinator and worked with the Asian Caucus, which has a definite voice on campus. And the people are so friendly. You don't have to worry about making friends at BC.
