A Day in the Life

snapshots of the freshman schedule

The campus on a spring day

One of the biggest transitions for students entering college is understanding the daily rhythms of the academic schedule.  Whereas traditional high school students are in class approximately 35-40 hours per week, a BC freshman spends about 15-20 hours per week in class.

In order to provide you with a better sense of the freshman life at Boston College, we asked some current freshmen to provide us with their first semester schedule and activities.  We hope you find this information helpful.
