There are two options available to students who wish to apply to Boston College. Both options are presented in the sections below: "Applying Via The Web" and "Downloading Printable Application Forms." It is important to emphasize that applicants must submit all required portions of the application in order to be reviewed by the Admission Committee. The required portions include the Common Application, the Boston College Supplemental Application for Admission, and the non-refundable $70 application fee. An application will not be considered complete until all required credentials have been received by the Office of Undergraduate Admission.
Please note: This page contains information for freshman and transfer applicants. Therefore, please make sure that you are completing the correct application.
APPLYING VIA THE WEB
Our preferred way for you to apply to Boston College is to complete the following two steps below. Students should fill out the Freshman Boston College Supplemental Application with Application Fee first, and then complete the application process using the Common Application.
IMPORTANT: Click here for necessary additional information before completing the form.
FRESHMAN APPLICANTS:
Step 1:
Complete Step 1 as soon as possible.

Students are asked to submit the Boston College Supplemental Application and Fee as soon as they have decided to apply to Boston College. This begins the application process by opening a file in our office to ensure smooth processing of the student's application. Students should not wait until their Common Application is complete to submit this portion of the application.
PLEASE NOTE: Students who do not wish to pay the application fee electronically should STILL submit the Boston College Supplemental Application electronically. The payment function occurs after the supplement is submitted. Once submitted, students will have the option to pay on-line, or mail a check separately to: Boston College, Office of Undergraduate Admission, Devlin Hall 208, Chestnut Hill, MA 02467-3809.

DOWNLOADING PRINTABLE APPLICATION FORMS
While we prefer the method above, we realize that some students will want to submit the paper version of the application. Therefore, the 2006-2007 Boston College Supplements for Freshman and Transfer applicants and the Common Application are available below in PDF format for downloading and printing. The application downloads include full instructions on how to complete the application forms and submit the required credentials.
PLEASE NOTE: The Boston College Supplemental Application should be mailed BEFORE the Common Application, well in advance of the admission deadlines. We recommend that students submit the Supplement electronically as soon as they decide to apply. It is NOT to the student's advantage to send both the Supplement and the Common Application at the same time.
Mail the completed application with the appropriate non-refundable application fee to: Boston College, Office of Undergraduate Admission, Devlin Hall 208, Chestnut Hill, MA 02467-3809.
