"The best thing about arriving on campus freshman year was International Orientation; I absolutely loved it. I was matched with an International Assistant who showed me where my classes were, the bookstore, where to eat - that helped a lot. I went to a Catholic school for 13 years and it was important for me to study at a Jesuit, Catholic university like Boston College that values community service and living as men and women for others. I am a Sikh but feel comfortable in a Jesuit environment because people respect that I am of a different faith. Professors are so approachable here and I got involved in quite a few clubs. When I went home for summer break, I realized that I was really looking forward to coming back to BC."
